A Ride for Charity, An Adventure of a Lifetime…
Riding the Enduro India Trip on a Royal Enfield motorbike has been a dream. I am not sure which came first riding a motorbike or going on an enduro adventure. Either way, I spent many years just imagining what it would be like. Now I have decided it is about time to start fund raising so I sooner then later partake in this charity ride through the spectacular and diverse landscape of India
Each year a group of Motorcyclists raise funds for charities to partake in Enduro India. These funds often go to aid in wildlife conservation, community planning, and global health issues. Recent charities have included The Rainbow Trust, Unicef, and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
The ride itself is over 1,300 miles starting on India’s coastline. The teams of motorcyclist then head south into the mountains and pass tea plantations and small villages before ending near the city of Kattayam. The trip altogether takes 15 days included one for riders to get acquainted riding a Royal Enfield, Bullet 350 with left side shifting.
In hoping to make this trip possible, I seeking the support of individuals and business a like. It is my plan to keep a log along help support charities in resolving issue facing nature and humanity while sharing the adventure and spirit a greater worldwide community. A number of events are planned along the way to raise such funds and awareness. These events are not limited locally to just friends and family. I am asking the help from all you out there to donate and along the as I also plan my route back home to Maine after graduating mechanical school in Phoenix, Arizona.
Every donation counts and I hope you will continue to follow along on this site to find updates and photos of motorcycle trips past and present. Currently the Royal Enfield is being modified so I can carry the necessary to update live from the road.
Cheers to riding!
